Cape May in New Jersey: dolphins and small town charm

Our last-minute, spur of the moment escapade paid off. Cape May in New Jersey is a beautiful small town. We only spent an afternoon there, enough to see the wild dolphins racing behind our boat, walk the charming little downtown and grab a bite to eat.

Our little M and her friend peruse the flowery storefronts and sit on every bench.

The highlight of the day was the boat trip and dolphin tour.

Nothing beats the look on Little M’s face as she sees the dolphins, including a little one, swimming swiftly on the wake of our boat.

We ended the day at the beach, our little one chasing and being chased by the waves, laughing and tumbling in the sand.

This is not a good-bye New Jersey! But it was a nice farewell 🙂

And with this we closed our New Jersey chapter, for now. Next stop…… Chile!
